Daisy Reunited With Her Brother, Darby!

beggin_4_green_beansThis post has been delayed a long while. We’ve had Darby now since December of 2010. It seems that Darby’s original owner lost his job and had to take another one out of state. He couldn’t take Darby with him. When we discovered he was up for adoption we just had to have him. I mean, c’mon… he’s her BROTHER!

 

The 2 of them play like siblings, wrestle like siblings and generally seem very happy together. Daisy gets a lot of exercise. Darby gets a lot of exercise. WE get lots of exercise… :)

 

We’ve now owned Darby longer than his original owner. He seems to have adjusted to life here.

Daisy’s Story

Here we go again…Daisy

To the left here is a photo of the newest member of our family. Her name is Daisy. She has quite a story behind her.

Her litter was left bundled in a sweater in the driveway of a rescue shelter in Ohio. I would really like to know what kind of person drops off a litter of 6 week old pups, in the freezing cold, in the DRIVEWAY of a shelter, but they can’t go knock on the door. While at the rescue, Daisy and her litter mates all came down with Parvo. One of them died. Continue reading →
